It's pretty much a tv movie split up into webisodes. If it was fan made I'd say it was watchable but it's pretty piss poor for an official effort.
Yeah I didn't like SGU when it was on but I'd rather be watching that. In fact I might watch it again now as I haven't for a while.

I caught an episode of SGU on cable and liked it. I had no idea it was cancelled...

I was too annoyed with what happened with Atlantis to give Universe a try. It didn't help that the previews made it out to be too similar to BSG (the 2000s one).
