KOTOR is still meh. I finished some quests and rescued that jedi girl the swoop bike race was way easier than I thought it'd be(was expecting it to be like the pod race in lego star wars).
I guess I'm finding it hard to like any of the characters the wookie is so far the only one I like and that's only because I find wookies funny.

THE BEST METHOD to run PSX games (and everything else for that matter) is via Retroarch - http://buildbot.libretro.com/nightly/
If you have any questions on how to set it up on Windows please feel free to ask, its very easy.

Mission is the closest thing to a fun/funny character in that game until you get a certain droid, and I remember liking Jolee a bit.

I spent about 4 hours rewriting the button-reading routines because for no reason some weren't working. I have a lot of different button combos to control so that I can control multiple sliders in all different directions, you see. After hours of rewriting, I just ended up breaking the program even more! Turns out my keyboard has serious ghosting...so certain key combos in Windows can't register...I think VBA's default joypad configs should take that into consideration...

    Its my laptop. :\
I'll see if the keyboard on my desktop has any issues, but its not like Im gonna carry it around from coffee shop, to library or where ever I feel like hanging out.

The code works on an actual gameboy, so that all that matters. In the meantime, I just edited the joypad key inputs.
