FFX...reasonably playable... I'm thinking 4-8FPS on a menu driven game. Am I in the ballpark?
Naw we went through this way back I think. The opening with Sin and everything in Zanarkand was shit slow (probably 10-12fps sometimes jumping up) but once it opened up I was getting 45-50 fps. Certain things really slowed it down like casting Shiva and some fmvs. But random battles worked full speed. Made it to the Calm lands when I did this. I had a special plugin specific to old Intel GMA's too. But yeah still sucked.

My desktop is a Core2Duo 2.9 ghz with 4gb ram and an Nvidia GT710 and can run it at 2x native - just slows down a tad in the Omega dungeon. Of course PCSX2 is much better now though.

    Muncher series was way better.
THE BEST METHOD to run PSX games (and everything else for that matter) is via Retroarch - http://buildbot.libretro.com/nightly/
If you have any questions on how to set it up on Windows please feel free to ask, its very easy.

I don't know if I ever heard of that series before.
I vaguely remember a game we used to play on the old large black floppy disks I think it featured a bear and you had to collect things while avoiding enemies it was an educational game I think it might have been about home safety this was back in second grade so I was 7.

got an answer about the partial refund $25 considering what I paid for it(which I overpaid)I'm not even getting half my money back at that price.

Man the DLC is hard for Dark Souls 2. Level 140 and getting slaughtered.

Might have to switch my build around. Maybe lighter armor and weapons so I can dodge and move quicker.

It's a discontinued Western Digital media player, this model is pre wifi but has ethernet and is full HD. Plays a lot of older codecs fine and plays most current video files except x265.
Also seems to play FLAC and some other file formats that none of my players can handle.
I'll have to do some more reading but I think this model is hackable and it might have like 5 or 6 DACs

Load times for scanning ext HDDs is extremely slow, but then I did just get it to scan a 5TB that is mostly full Surprised it recognised it tbh, this player is like 7 years old.
Reads both FAT32 & NTFS format HDDs.
