It's a discontinued Western Digital media player, this model is pre wifi but has ethernet and is full HD. Plays a lot of older codecs fine and plays most current video files except x265.
Also seems to play FLAC and some other file formats that none of my players can handle.
I'll have to do some more reading but I think this model is hackable and it might have like 5 or 6 DACs
Load times for scanning ext HDDs is
extremely slow, but then I did just get it to scan a 5TB that is mostly full

Surprised it recognised it tbh, this player is like 7 years old.
Reads both FAT32 & NTFS format HDDs.
