I forgot how much there is to do in oblivion I remember it being massive on pc but it blows my mind how big it is on ps3 also how well it looks and plays.

What kind of AA (anti-aliasing)? There are a lot of destructive methods like FXAA that cause more harm than good.

Looks like just regular AA - it only goes upto 4. Apparently I only had it at 2x. (thought I had it all maxed) I read somewhere that texture quality is kinda broken on extra so lowered it to high and turned up ambient occlusion to high but that might reallly slow things down. Gonna give it a whirl after some food.

MSAA shouldn't have much of a negative impact beyond making it look slightly softer. Might be the AO method.

I'm fine without mods unless there's one for increasing monster spawns. trying to find enough slaughter fish to complete a quest is a tad annoying.

PS3 can't really handle mods that increase spawns. Framerate suffers with more npc's etc in an area and if your save is large enough in size then such a mod is more likely to crash the game.
Maybe a faster respawn mod would be ok (change from 3 days or whatever to 24 hours), but all that is doing is changing wait/sleep time from 3 days to 1

There's a also a tweak that removes fog from dungeons, actually rather handy on PS3 as the fog is just something extra taxing the system. Removing it is beneficial.
I run quiet feet max as well, it basically removes foot steps audio of 4 legged creatures including horses. Audio for those is bugged in this game and using that mod is a fix as such which also helps performance.

That arrows mod I posted isn't really a cheat. I mean it doesn't make bows OP.
Just gives a slight boost to make using bows more balanced and enjoyable. It doesn't make using an iron bow + iron arrows an uber sniping weapon from game start.

I've always liked using bows in TES games myself.

The party hard spell is sort of like a cheat I guess but it's more about some mayhem if you feel like it You have to go get it from a vendor though ( 0 gold price) so a lot of people wouldn't actually call it a cheat.
