@Deadlegion Circling back a couple days to Destiny 2 microtransactions, I forgot to mention something.
So in Destiny 2 you pay money for Silver, to buy Bright Engrams (loot boxes)
You also can earn Bright Engrams from leveling up again once already max level.
Each week (rotates each week), the vendor also sells a few of the items possible in Bright Engrams straight up for a currency called Bright Dust.
Bright Dust is obtained from dismantling items obtained in Bright Engrams, or when opening Bright Engrams you can sometimes get a bunch of Bright Dust.
