Awesomness
Seeing my mom build her own computer and tinker with a Nintendo 64.
Playing the NES when I was a kid.
Mario all the way. Nintendo has been conning me into new systems for decades now, mostly for Mario!

I was always interested in electronics gadgets and my dad bought a NES home on a whim one day in the late 80's and I've been playing them ever since.
Super Mario (NES) put me on to this until now too late to quit now
My family got an NES and tons of classics as a present to the kids. The rest is history.
Zelda

Likely from watching the Sonic the Hedgehog cartoons when i was younger; I hazily remember playing a gameboy with Kirby's Dreamland and a a Genesis with a horse game at an event [CNE?] and those were fun. Never found out what that game with the horses was [no, it wasn't MLP lol]
I got hooked when i played Ninja Hattori-Kun back in 1994 or something
It was a window to another world, and I don't like that world actually, so it was a good plan.
I was told to post several times so I am posting here since I got into games cuz my dad was a gamer.
I don't believe it has to be different threads so I apologize ahead of time for the 5 posts that this is the 2nd of that will be added here
When I was a kid my dad bought a tandy 1000 pc and I enjoyed using the pc but it wasn't until we started getting Sierra games that I realized its full potential.
It had to have helped me in my reading and spelling as well since several of them when they first came out required reading and typing to interact.
