Man Technobabylon is such a pretty game, I love Wadjet Eye.

I thought about getting one of their games when they were on sale recently but they all sounded unappealing to me.

They're all basically point and clicks with the moon logic removed. Puzzles are still good brain teasers but don't stop the stories in their tracks.

I'd highly recommend Technobabylon, Shardlight, and Primordia. The Blackwell series is uneven, but it's worth it for the last game, Epiphany. The Shivah is interesting for the concept of a rabbi solving murders, but only if you don't mind a clunkier interface closer to old Lucas Arts style games.

I played Zak McKracken recently, so clunky interface isn't a problem, and there are always guides for bad puzzles. Not liking the sound of the stories is why I passed.

Fair enough, but I will go all in for reccing Shardlight. It's legit fantastic in how it makes the conflict complex and the twists it pulls out. Probably the group's most emotionally impactful title.

What are we talking about now? My brother just picked up Hugo's house of horrors for his 286.
