should be free unless they're charging for extra options. I have used it for several years without having to pay for anything.

Chrome is probably why you were seeing weird attack site messages or whatever. Also, that browser isn't secure if you're using autofill.

Freemake video converter can convert most vids, has a very uncomplicated interface/options and can also rip video streams from various sites including youtube.
Only the base prog is totally free iirc...although I haven't looked at more recent versions so maybe ripping from youtube isn't an extra now idk
I still use an older version sometimes for queueing conversions that I can't be bothered running through handbrake (which I have to use if the source is x265), subtitles options for that old version are an extra but only requires a simple serial key and no server authentication to unlock.

So after a little googling I somehow ended up on gamefaqs reading arguments about RE2 remake must be like original RE2, not RE4/5/6 or 7. Even FF games post 7 were mentioned, also MGS and some other stuff.

I agree with them, remake it like they did the RE1 remake...do not turn it into GENERIC HORROR ACTION GAME #8. Besides, its barely them doing it XD All they did was take that guys Unreal mod and have tarted it up a little.

2 is more of a horror shooter anyway. I prefer first person or at least over the shoulder.
I have been criticising 7 lately but tbh I like the perspective...and overall I do like 4/5/6, although partner AI in 5 has always pissed me off.

I enjoyed the original games immensely when they came out and even for a few years after that but now I require a more modern format to keep me interested.
I can see valid points for various arguments about what would be best for remakes, but just catering for diehard fans that want pure nostalgia isn't to make the most money.
I've got and played the HD remake of the first game, while nice to look at I didn't feel compelled to complete everything 100%. Haven't bothered trying 0 yet.
