The lasers in all my PS2's seems to have pooped out, but my PS3 can do the samesies.

but you're right, S-video should be acceptable in most cases. I just have to get around to adding them to a few consoles.
Yeah it's one of the last pre HD 32" models but it does have component. I only really use it for old consoles so it doesn't need to be HD anyway I have 2 other 1080p leds for that, the largest is only 43" though.

For PS2 gen on back one of those would probably be preferable over the hi-scan or super fine pitch TVs. I'd take a progressive capable CRT TV or a CRT monitor over an LCD for PS3/360/Wii.

The issue with PS3/360 is that you need a large widescreen for plenty of games, otherwise the picture is too small. 4:3 32" just doesn't cut it.
Wii doesn't matter so much, in fact it doesn't even bother me running that on SD CRT.

I'd be fine with the 29" viewable or whatever it is around there .

I find the 28" viewable 4:3 area on my XBR800 is plenty from around 5' - 6'. I've never been big on huge sizes aside from long viewing distances.

MP or anything involving sniping (or even iron sights long shots) isn't good if your picture is smaller than 32". Sure you could sit a couple of feet away from the screen but that's bad.

I don't have any issues with the aforementioned setup. I don't really like playing FPS on console either .

No and I'd never want one that large.

Work was filled with technical difficulties tonight. But I was on air for the first time ever tonight! Had to announce the Church Services happening tonight. Felt weird knowing all of my family members were listening.
