If people want to get upset about it they should blame themselves for allowing the Republicans to maneuver into this position.

They did, and you got six years of Obama gritting his teeth and passing Republican legislation while they obstructed and amended anything he and the Democrats tried to get through the house. Obamacare for example was absolutely butchered and barely even resembles what was originally intended. Had Clinton been elected you’d be facing another four years of the same thing. The saving grace would have been her keeping many of the nastier Republican policies at bay as Obama did.
So far it’s looking like Trump will rubber stamp whatever the Republicans want and in return they’ll let him play Dear Leader, which is really all he wanted in the first place. They’ve already turned a blind eye to blatant conflicts of interest re: his businesses and loans, and they’re doing the same with his cabinet choices as we speak. They couldn’t even care less about his alleged links to Russia.
The short version is he can chimp out on Twitter, bring his cheer squad to press conferences and have Spicer lie about crowd sizes as much as he wants, but if he starts refusing to play ball or becomes too much of a liability the party have already got more than enough dirt to impeach him. And he knows it.

It would be crappy either way with any party in power. Time will tell rather than speculation.
Anywho, let's get off political bollocks. It's boring and it never leads anywhere other than flaming and ego stroking.
It seems pretty civil in here from what I can tell.
