MGS Digital Graphic Novel was the one I was thinking of. It was also released on DVD later but I think some changes were made...

On BD too but...DVD features full Japanese voice acting, but removes all the interactive elements and the database, essentially turning the game into a movie.
Guess you could argue either way about it being a PSP exclusive since other versions aren't interactive.Despite being on Blu-ray disc, the movie appears to still be in standard definition.

The game and manual warn that using this device for extended periods of time may lead to eyestrain, and prolonged use is not recommended.
You don't have to use it though.
