    These DS9 rips I got recently are better than the old avi set I've had for God knows how long.

    x264 at twice the filesize is guaranteed to be better unless they really screwed up somewhere .

    These x264/mkv rips are pretty much DVD quality Although if I actually had the retail DVDs they would look better via my blu-ray player due to 1080p upscaling.
    There aren't any blu-ray remasters of DS9 or Voyager. DVD is the best available.
