I wish I could help you there but I only use OBS to record game footage, pretty decent competitor to Fraps.

Yeah OBS is king when it comes to PC recording. XSplit is good too, but I don't want to pay for that shit. Plus if I remember right it's a RAM and CPU hog. Eh. I need to do a side by side and see if the audios changed at all.

put it this way, no fuckin POS AV I/O card is going in my workhorse.
ALL external, with it's own storage bank and connectivity/sockets.
and the best thing about it is, NO computers of any kind are required for user operations.
keep your machine resources for gaming.

Did you accidentally change the input device in that or Windows? Is something else running that's not giving it access?

Doesn't look like it, the input is the Blue Yeti Microphone. I mean, I don't mind having to use two different softwares.

Check the settings on your recording device, make sure it is recording at the same sample rate as your software. It may also need to be set to Exclusive mode for the best quality so check their documentation or forums for advice.

I guess I'll have to do that. Still getting used to PC recording. It used to be so simple on console.

PCs give you far more to screw with to your liking than a locked down console.

Roxas you try Valdis Story yet?
