The gold is pretty much the old classics at this point. Virtually all the more recent stuff isn't worth watching.

I do not watch much newer anime. Gobby's comment about getting a shovel sounds about right, only I'm lazy so yeah. I'd much rather read a book, watch a US show, play a video game etc... than look through the upcoming lot of new anime seasons.

Random nudes aside ( ) I find that a lot of the movies and oavs from the late 80s into the 90s are typically pretty solid watches. I don't think this is a me thing either, I like newer games so it's not that I'm opposed to newer media. Maybe anime has just run out of ideas.
