can relate, but aside a reputation based system, commentary applies.
if that happens at my joint, especially after the user confirmed the info was incorrect/slack copy and pase without comparisons, nuked account, ip passed around with clear instructions:
glory grabber, not paying attention to what's required.
allow registry at your own leisure/risk.

repping doesn't wash, actual genuine feedbacks do.
if this person can't be arsed to correct his mistake while asking for up-rep disregarding the initial error in his part.
it's still good of them ti put out, their time and shares, but QA is where it's at.
