Anything co-op is usually bearable, it's mp that's really painful. Blacklist had co-op missions and several other games I've played have co-op...but they were all PS3. I don't have dialup That's 56K, I have 1.5Mbps...but it's adsl and the ul speed is much slower than that.

Stealth and brute force options. It isn't anything mind blowing but it is pretty well put together.

All the story missions are relatively the same, all the side quests/encounters are exactly the same and just repeated with higher level enemies in each zone. The end-game grind is worse though, as everyone just wants to do one mission on challenge to earn the credits needed to buy the end game gear. The Dark-Zone I feel like is a complete joke. If you are going to farm, you just run in a circle farming the different spawns over and over, which some people are assholes and will just go into each spawn kill the boss (who can drop the best stuff) and leave without clearing it out so it won't reset. No one also goes rogue in the Dark-zone (attacking/killing other agents) because there is literally no benefit to doing so. You take the risk of killing a person who might have nothing worthwhile in their inventory, for a bounty on your ass, the entire zone hunting you down (including the guy you just killed because he will just respawn), if you are killed while rogue you lose like an entire level of dark-zone xp, 1/4 of your dark zone credits and anything you had scavenged that run. Killing a rogue (has no penalty) and grants you crap ton of xp and any gear they had. So basically the game rewards you well for killing a rogue, but not for going rogue, so no one does. This also leads people to try and intentionally make you go rogue by trying to walk in front of your bullets, run into any grenades you throw, etc.

It also has 230 pieces of intel to collect....230. Like really?
Oh and it is buggy as hell, I have a couple small vids of some of the few things that have happened to me over the course of like 3 days.

Also, the enemies at high levels are just all bullet sponges. No matter how DPS focused you go, it still takes several magazines to kill anyone, while they can kill you in about 2 secs if you let them free fire at you. If you go tanky/supportive, they will kill you in 3 secs instead, but you won't do damage to them.
Wow. Loads of issues there, particularly the ones related to the Dark Zone -which was supposed to be the most original part of the game- are pretty relevant. I mean, I can see the missions being repetitive, it's an Ubisoft game after all, it's like a company seal but they've done 2 betas no less to make the Dark Zone stuff more appealing.
Oh and the 230 pieces of intel to collect is nothing compared to the 1000 diamonds in Far Cry 2. Yeah, Ubi again

The Division sounds like a normal Ubisoft game to me. Repetitive, broken at release etc etc.

Hard shooters are like that on hardest difficulty. Have you played Killzone 2 or CoD WaW? The only way you can beat the hardest difficulty is by memorising enemy spawns as best as possible and learning how to avoid dying. Also luck...WaW is notorious for grenade spamming on the highest difficulty. Killzone 2 has at least one spot where there is a massive firefight, you have to push forward incrementally just to get anywhere ('cos if you just sit there enemies keep spawning in endless waves) and yeah the enemies are OP bullet sponges.

And glitches/bugs? Well it's a new game so it will probably get some fixes.
Yeah Dark-zone is a joke right now. It is just like the normal game but more enemies and the possible threat of another agent killing you, and the annoyance of having to extract your loot.

The one thing nice about the collectibles is that once you clear an area of all sidequests/encounters they show up on your map, so you just have to run around to get them all. Do have to be careful though, and make sure to switch your map over to intel only, because some of the icons are blocked by other icons on your normal map so you may miss them.

I get that most are bullet-spongey, but this game is supposed to be a cover-shooter, where you slowly move around the battlefield moving from cover to cover picking people off, but bullet-sponges completely get rid of that. Not to mention every group of mobs have melee/close-range guys that literally follow you to the ends of the earth unless you deal with them, they get even more annoying since they have ridiculous armor and the enemies type you face at the end have shotguns so you really have to watch your ass.

So it's strictly co-op only with a set amount of players, and do you really need that loot? I haven't done any reading about the game.

You can play solo. It is just mountains safer/easier in a group because there is no scaling/extra enemies or anything if you have more players. Max in a group is 4.

Dark Zone loot? Not exactly, there is the chance that it can drop the highest level stuff once you get in the more difficult areas of the Dark Zone, but it is really just a way to earn credits to be able to buy the best stuff. Also there is a dark zone rank, which obviously can only be leveled up from killing enemies in the dark zone, but other than being able to purchase the loot at the vendors in the highest levels of the dark zone, it does nothing.
