The Division never really appealed to me that much, still doesn't now it's out.
Destiny never did either, I got sucked into that pile of crap because it was one of few PS4 games with co-op.![]()

It is one of the most repetitive games I have ever played, and I'm not just talking about the end-game grind. All the story missions are relatively the same, all the side quests/encounters are exactly the same and just repeated with higher level enemies in each zone. The end-game grind is worse though, as everyone just wants to do one mission on challenge to earn the credits needed to buy the end game gear. The Dark-Zone I feel like is a complete joke. If you are going to farm, you just run in a circle farming the different spawns over and over, which some people are assholes and will just go into each spawn kill the boss (who can drop the best stuff) and leave without clearing it out so it won't reset. No one also goes rogue in the Dark-zone (attacking/killing other agents) because there is literally no benefit to doing so. You take the risk of killing a person who might have nothing worthwhile in their inventory, for a bounty on your ass, the entire zone hunting you down (including the guy you just killed because he will just respawn), if you are killed while rogue you lose like an entire level of dark-zone xp, 1/4 of your dark zone credits and anything you had scavenged that run. Killing a rogue (has no penalty) and grants you crap ton of xp and any gear they had. So basically the game rewards you well for killing a rogue, but not for going rogue, so no one does. This also leads people to try and intentionally make you go rogue by trying to walk in front of your bullets, run into any grenades you throw, etc.
It also has 230 pieces of intel to collect....230. Like really?
Oh and it is buggy as hell, I have a couple small vids of some of the few things that have happened to me over the course of like 3 days.
Also, the enemies at high levels are just all bullet sponges. No matter how DPS focused you go, it still takes several magazines to kill anyone, while they can kill you in about 2 secs if you let them free fire at you. If you go tanky/supportive, they will kill you in 3 secs instead, but you won't do damage to them.
lmao
That is a lot, but not an insane amount of collectibles for an entire game. I mean it would be doable if you're organised about it.
Hard shooters are like that on hardest difficulty. Have you played Killzone 2 or CoD WaW? The only way you can beat the hardest difficulty is by memorising enemy spawns as best as possible and learning how to avoid dying. Also luck...WaW is notorious for grenade spamming on the highest difficulty. Killzone 2 has at least one spot where there is a massive firefight, you have to push forward incrementally just to get anywhere ('cos if you just sit there enemies keep spawning in endless waves) and yeah the enemies are OP bullet sponges.
And glitches/bugs? Well it's a new game so it will probably get some fixes.

I enjoyed the last TC game I played (SC Blacklist) so I'll probably check this out, eventually.
