The Souls games are spiritual successors to From Software’s own King’s Field and Shadow Tower games. Definitely try them if you haven’t already. They’re on PS1/PS2 and are played from a first person perspective but they share the same gothic atmosphere, difficulty level and many gameplay mechanics in common with the Souls series. Shadow Tower Abyss and the original King’s Field 1 were only released in Japan but there are translation patches available if you want to play them. I'd almost kill to play demon's souls. But sadly, I haven't bought a console in quite some time. That's why I asked the way I did, primarily interested in pc games but if anything is available on the gamecube, wii, ps1, or ps2 i'd be ecstatic.
