Whenever I think of shows that got cut short, but deserved so much more. I always think of this one pilot on Adult Swim called Korgoth of Barbaria. It was a great mashup of Conan, and pseudo 70s style American animation such as Ralph Bakshi's Wizards and the original Heavy Metal. Sadly only the pilot exists, because apparently it wasn't popular enough to warrant a regular series.
