Besides sfx being all over the place (and not badly done for effects I must say) the show itself is terrible.

I quit watching shows on fox years ago I do sometimes watch the news on fox but that's just for the local weather they're a bit more reliable than the other stations around here.

This is a new tv show. Yes there was a Tom Cruise movie many years ago.

Did you notice there was a 12 Monkeys tv show? That was a movie years ago too.

It's just a trend we've been seeing for a while now. Remakes of movies, or movies to tv shows.

answered my own question I did see it I was confusing it with the bourne identity for some reason which is why I didn't think I seen minority report.
it was mediocre but I had the misfortune of watching it on ABC so they cut a bunch of stuff out I'm sure.

I wouldn't say the show is bad.
Something else that has been running for several years (finishing its last season now) is Continuum. Not the same as 12 Monkeys but has time travel from future to past, changes made have implications etc.
Continuum is a better show than 12 Monkeys imo.

the last time I really watched broadcast tv was when prison break was first running on fox I watched the first season of that and whatever season of 24 that was airing after that I got a satellite receiver in my room I did that for about a year or 2 and got utterly sick of tv. The FCC went on a censorship war and just butchered tv for me no more 80's boob on comedy central shit got replaced with BLEEP and asshole got replaced by assBLEEP that and the amount of commercial time started digging into the shows I'd watched so I quit watching tv. now I just download shows and movies I want to watch.

24 was enjoyable. I did watch a fair bit of Prison Break but didn't really like it.
