My first game console was an SNES that came with Super Mario Kart.
That wasn't the game that got me into gaming though, that would be Rogue Squadron on the N64.

Commodore 64. Giana sisters was the first game ever I played. and Jungle Jill :p
I guess when I got my first Gameboy (the clear one that ate batteries like I devour soft pretzels) and Link's Awakening. I was hooked instantly as a wee little boy.

Playing the Sega Genesis at a cousin's house. Ironically though my folks got me an SNES instead...
original nes with mario bros / duck hunt cartridge, then i got mario 3 and the rest is history

But I got so frustrated I stopped.
I didn't really get into it until the Playstation that my cousin had and he was playing Final Fantasy VII.
