But the definition of a parasite is something which hijacks the initial function of the cell in order to propagate itself, the entire function of the egg cell is to host a sperm cell so it's not parasitic.

Also viruses infect and either through the lsyogenic cycle consistently produce virus particles for the entire life of the cell or cause the cell itself to burst (lytic cycle) and instantly release thousands of new viruses, viruses are single celled also.
