No, but my Grandfather (on the Irish side) started running marathons after he retired

My father is almost 60 and ran one last year, when I uesd to work at races I often saw old men in their 60's and older running races, it was women in their 40's who were the worst age group in terms of endurance running though.

I ran a marathon once. Well, I ran TO a Marathon gas station once. For beer. And it was more of a power walk.

I only know one female over 40 (same age as me actually) that does long distance running, but she has been running since she was a child.
My Grandfather just went through a running fad really. He only did it for 6-8 years or something like that, but he was always a fairly fit outdoors type.

    Haha no I was joking.

But seriously you could probably train pretty well in 3 months, just depends on you regimen and determination.

Oh yeah, every day almost. But marathons I decided were just too much strain on the joints. I limit my long distance running under a half marathon, it keeps me sane.

    Makes sense.

I limit my daily walking to the bare minimum required.

Of course, you gotta make the most of that chair time.

Too bad the PS4 isn't free if you already bought the PS3.
