Agreed on that one. It's how I ended up with Advanced Warfare. Whoops.

the things I see for sale on that site range from stupid to surprising. I was surprised to see mega man x and earthbound for sale at the game store. they were both lose carts but were still really high. megaman x was running $129 and earthbound was $199. it was really cool seeing those games there but it would have been cooler to see them with boxes and manuals.

I pre-ordered that one back in the day as well. I remember seeing pics of the first Arc the Lad in some Overseas Prospects section of an old EGM mag I had. I remember thinking, wow this game looks cool. It only took them another decade and a half to finally translate it to English.

That is an awful rip-off for Megaman X, that is usually the cheapest of the three for SNES. Are you sure it wasn't X3?

No shit, I think I saw promos for it in gamestop and thats how I knew, not sure though.

Do know I'm glad I got it. :smug:

God those POS on PS2 are awful, not even from the same developer, well End of Darkness wasn't that bad but still a damn disgrace to the ATL name.

My SNES copies of X 1-3 were stolen but thankfully I still "own" them on the PS2 compilation, still own the original release of 4/5/6 though along with the absolute travesty 7 and the somewhat redeeming 8.

Got the DS Zero compilation sealed and I just run that from my flashcards.

it might have been I didn't look that closely at it, I was more interested in super castlevania 4 but I think I can find that cheaper on ebay it was $34.99 at the store I was really tempted to buy it, that was one of my top favorite snes games.

I've tried playing X7 several times and just can't get into like the previous titles. I know capcom was trying something new with the 2d and 3d stages but I don't think it worked well they should have kept true to the series and left it a 2d side scroller.

My main issue with it was the horrible as fuck english dub , even if you set it to japanese it was only in the cutscenes , game was still the horrible ass english.

The story was also pretty damn lame and the overall presentation.

So glad Zero and ZX were not giant pieces of shit like X7 was, really digged the new character design in Zero/ZX as well.

Yeah, the X games (sans X7) were all really good, as were the Megaman Zero games. The ZX ones not so much though...

I've always been a big fan of Megaman though since I was a kid.

Ahh, yeah SCV4 has gone up in price a decent amount these days. You might be able to find one for cheaper though. I wish I had the money to buy all the SNES carts I want, but I think I'm just going to eventually save up for an Everdrive.

Working on my "Shark Punks" studded vest for the Camp Fangamer Earthbound celebration coming up this week. I'm trying to come up with patch designs, and I did finish the two back patch designs I wanted. Though now my creativity is fizzling, but I need to come up with a bunch more patches... Maybe I should just make some more coffee, load a bowl, and play some more EB for a little inspiration.

I was thinking of doing a Giygas/Chaos Sign mash-up though. Might have something to work with there...
