Sapphire is a $400 game but yeah still ridiculous. Fortunately it was brought to PSP and that only runs about $40 these days. Lots of the US Turbo games are ridiculously expensive at this point. I only really plan to get the WD games and I've already nabbed Cadash and Vasteel. The rest I think will be Japanese unless I luck out.
In fact here is all I have so far including stuff in the mail: Racing Damashii, Cadash, Vasteel, Dragon Spirit, Salamander, Side Arms, Super Star Soldier, Final Soldier, PC Genjin, PC Genjin 2, PC Genjin 3, Momotaro Katsugeki, Image Fight, Ordyne (this game is adorable!), Kyukyoku Tiger, Adventure Island (Dragon's Curse in the US, secretly Wonder Boy III or something like that), R-Type I and Puyo Puyo. I really want to get the first Spriggan and Download (yes this is the name of a game lol) 1 and 2. But I need to cool it for now.
Lots of really fun games there. Really enjoyed what I've played so far. Dat old school challenge.
For Dreamcast I picked up Garou MotW, Last Blade 2 and Choko Senki Kikaioh. I sold my US copies of those games for $160 and got Japanese versions for $66 shipped.![]()
They made Alundra a lot more fun as well imo. Mostly because they made it more challenging. Easy games are boring! They went overboard with SM though.
Indeed. That game was dubbed in English in Japan. Can't remember if that's been brought up here before or not. No wonder it's such a rubbish dub.
@Nem: Spoiler: That is the story.![]()
Newsflash pigglydick
MOST ENGLISH DUBS SUCK REGARDLESS OF RECORDING LOCATION!

THE BEST METHOD to run PSX games (and everything else for that matter) is via Retroarch - http://buildbot.libretro.com/nightly/
If you have any questions on how to set it up on Windows please feel free to ask, its very easy.
Better go find the Japanese dub of Uncharted.![]()
Oh and Call of Duty too. I can ONLY play that game in the MUCH SUPERIOR JAPANESE LANGUAGE.
Kawaii desu tank shell.
I see everyone left.
I'll bite. I've found most dubbed rpgs have sucked a great example is evergrace. the 1 rpg I can think of off the top of my head that didn't suck was FF12 for the most part it had pretty good voice acting there were a few characters whose voice actors just didn't fit the part.
The other exception to the dub rule is action/fps games I really can't think of an ps or action game that had shitty voice acting.
platformers have been hit and miss on thise too. racthet and clank games had good voice acting. ape escape had terrible voice acting.

Did this just become Skype the hangout all of a sudden?
For all the crap they get from some people AAA games generally have really good VA. I recall the Uncharted games being quite good in the VA department but it's been awhile. Bats games too. I think a big problem is that companies think every game should be voiced now. If you aren't going to hire decent talent please just don't bother, I'd rather read.
A live look-in at Warrior:
You really do bring up a good point that not many people want to admit.
