Might have a look at it later in the week. Just amazed it's reading discs again period. It wouldn't load them at all before, just kept spinning them at about 90,000 RPM.

They replace the disc drive and just read the disc images from external storage like a flash card/stick or HDD.
The most well known one is the Wode for the Wii.
