Grouch have you considered checking Gamefaqs for a guide or is it more of a gameplay issue?

I don't need a faq it's just the difficulty of getting to the final palace between monsters pitfalls and lack of fairies along the way.

Ah okay that's what I was wondering.

Cadash very much had a reverse difficulty curve. It was hard to get going because of some initial traps but once I got going and got my character more powerful it became a breeze. It doesn't help that you can't save. And it's def a bitch move to use an emulator and save states imo.

Hey Gyp, the same guy who created the GDEmu is working on an optical drive emulator for the PCE as well. He mentions it at the bottom of the newest blog post. I'm totally going to snag one of those when it's finally released.

    Get bent Porky.

THE BEST METHOD to run PSX games (and everything else for that matter) is via Retroarch - http://buildbot.libretro.com/nightly/
If you have any questions on how to set it up on Windows please feel free to ask, its very easy.

    Sorely needed.

I'm actually watching an auction right now for a yellowed but working CDROM2. The last low starting auction that was up was CIB and in great shape so of course it went out of my price range.

Enjoy wasting time fucking around with frustrating games that have no saving .
