just gotta say thank god for save states if it weren't for them I don't think I would be able to finish toejam and earl sad thing is I own it on genesis but emulate it because it has no save or password feature.

Yeah, it's not a matter of game difficulty these days even. People have things to do and places to be; they shouldn't have to visit arbitrary points in games just to save if they have to go to work or something. Final Fantasy, etc

For some games it makes sense to limit saves if it's part of the difficulty (Resident Evil 1) but yeah for most games they should just let you quick save. I specially hate it when FPS games don't have quick saves.

It isn't a huge problem if you know what triggers an autosave And it's pretty obvious when a save is being made.
DI and Riptide aren't hard games, but if you manage to grab some modded weapons during co-op you can speed through everything if you need to do an extra play-through for whatever reason.

In my last two weeks at work I was gettin 5 hours sleep each night and still cycling or playing squash after it, I also was constantly wired for some reason.
