    Turned my Neo-Geo on the other day, and instead of the usual music that accompanied the games. I would get either missing instruments, or insanely garbled music altogether. Suffice to say I kind of freaked out a bit. After troubleshooting for a couple hours I finally went so far as to take it apart and re-seat the two motherboard's connections. Thankfully the music returned to normal. I really didn't want to have to do any repairs on that board or have to replace it.
