My schedule got screwed around a lot more before I went to the float pool in Nov. Now my schedule still sucks but I got to pick how it sucks in that I told them which days I wanted and those are the ones I got.

    Cue obligatory comment from DL.

Much better than before at least. Eventually when you are really old you will get the exact hours you want. For like 6 months until you retire. YAAAAAAAAY WORK.

Well, nightly movie time. Cya around.

I'm not so sure, the way everyone is trying to run their hospitals like warehouses in terms of staffing.

Nice chatting with you, good night!

This is me to a tee. Even in the summer I have to have something on me usually, even if it's just a sheet.

Yes. I prefer a blanket but a sheet will do. I grew up in houses that didn't have central air conditioning and still managed to use blankets for the most part. HIGH SPEED FAN ON MY FACE NOW PLEASE

Oh yeah, I'll even run a box fan all the way into early winter sometimes.

I have a really nice all-metal old 60s box fan I got from my dad. The high setting on it is like a freaking wind turbine.

Oh man, I'm so jealous. We had a pretty cool one from Target for a while until it broke down. The modern ones don't seem to last more than a year or two with frequent use.

Yeah, the only thing is the cord needs to be replaced, because there's a short somewhere in it. So it turns off sometimes unless the cord's in just the right spot. Though that's really an easy fix to do. This thing is definitely not child safe though. That metal blade.

The modern plastic ones only tend to last me a year or so too.

Yeah, I guess that blade could be an issue.

Reminds me when my sister and I had bunk beds as kids. I got the top bed.

We also had a ceiling fan. Ow.

Well luckily there's never any kids in my house, so it's just fine. I just hope I never trip and fall into it in the middle of the night while it's on.

How many times did you crack your head on that? When my sister and I were young and still shared a room we had bunk beds too.
