I'll look into it further the next time I'm there and I'll check the inputs. I don't know much about LD stuff. I do know though that the REALLY "good" and good is very relative here LD players cost a shit ton working since LD at this point is way more hobby/collecting than practical use. Not even sure if there is any LD exclusive media.

That would be cool man. Yeah, the really awesome top of the line ones are pretty pricey, but a decent one can be had for not all that much. If you're willing to wait for the right listing that is.

Yeah there are some little things that still haven't been included on DVD or Blu-ray releases yet. I suspect there may still even be some movies that were only released in their original proper widescreen format on LD.
But as time goes on that might change.

It's hard to find up to date info about what's on LD/DVD/BD releases now. I mean most of the LD info out there is years old, so you would have to spend ages trying to figure out what doesn't exist on newer releases.
Like that thread you linked to started over 10 years ago and the last post is 5 years old.

I think T2 LD had a GNR video clip and maybe some extra audio no idea if newer releases cover everything tbh. I remember seeing that particular LD many years ago in a shop down in Melbourne. Might have been via a projector or possibly rear projection tv I do remember thinking; ooooooo only thing better then this is seeing it in a cinema
