There is a thrift store here with a model that goes for $80-100 on ebay for $31. I would guess it's decent if it goes for that price. I've been trying to get them to come down on it though since it is as-is and untested...

Heck, $31 is a pretty good price actually. If it didn't work you could easily get that much or more selling it as non-functioning on eBay. I'm specifically looking for one with S-Video and Digital Optical/PCM.

I'll look into it further the next time I'm there and I'll check the inputs. I don't know much about LD stuff. I do know though that the REALLY "good" and good is very relative here LD players cost a shit ton working since LD at this point is way more hobby/collecting than practical use. Not even sure if there is any LD exclusive media.
