Yeah, all my Lynx stuff is CIB, and I see a lot of CIB stuff on various forums. I've actually been thinking of picking up a title or two every now and then and work towards a complete set.

You can more than likely blame Youtube "celebrities" for that stuff. They bring obscure games to the attention of their fans and they in turn go and look for it on ebay/amazon. Therefore creating an artificial demand for the game driving the price up. Just subscribe to Game Grumps, or whatever popular Youtube crap there is nowadays and ride that fan wave to dollar-ville.

Yeah shit, you never know when something will take off. Not that Lynx is particularly likely to but still. I noticed a general creep with Dreamcast games recently, even derpy imports and that's why I slowed down on getting more Dreamcast games.

That's a pretty damn pro tip. Warrior is a youtube expert I'll ask him what the popular channels are.

I know, in a market this volatile you better get them while the price is low. Because you never know when something is going to become "niche cool" because of some net celeb dork. Plus you also have to factor in what generation grew up with what system when they were kids. Kids who grew up with the Dreamcast when they were 5, 6, 7 years old. Are now in their 20s, have money, and they might want to start reliving some of their childhood memories and buy the games they used to have, or always wanted.

I honestly think more than anything it's more US collectors wanting Japanese games. US games are most unchanged recently. EGG and Illbleed did receive massive spikes awhile back but that's all I can recall.
