This seems like a decent enough laptop for the price. League and whatever else should be playable, and it's within my self imposed budget.

If you are persistent enough with CS you can basically get w/e you want within reason. I speak from a ton of experience.

For instance with the video card I bought recently (third party seller on amazon) I wanted to exchange the damn thing (something was bent, minor annoyance mostly but for $600 well ya...) but the price had changed (went up big shocker...) so they wanted me to pay more money (LOL) I ended up keeping the card and getting $120 back. That one didn't even take that much effort honestly.

@Nem: Talking to shar about this now. You should wait for a deal and if not a deal closer to when you are needing it because prices will go down or you will get a better one for the same price. What was your budget again?

You don't have to be an asshole at all though. Just act like w/e the issue is was a huge inconvenience while also being nice. Persistence is the key because they don't WANT to give you anything but they are actually in most cases authorized to give you quite a bit. Time is valuable so eventually they want to get you off the line. Depending on the company you need to move up the food chain so to speak to get to someone that can give you more. It's kind of a fine line to walk I guess. I've always been good with people and my father has basically conned his way through life without ever working for anyone else so it's possible I just have a natural affinity for this kind of thing.
