I guess. One girl I was living with for many years (a long time ago now) was quite abusive physically, but she was short and not all that strong really.
I always made things worse by laughing when she was trying to punch the crap out of me She never went for my head though (a bit high up for her) although there was one time when she put my head through an interior plaster wall. She was an alcoholic and a pothead.
Not a bad person but she had plenty of issues.
