No The coast is more than 100km away but it's a tradition in my family to go down there over Christmas break. In recent years I haven't gone much but I might this year.
I actually live right next to a lake, on a hill overlooking it to be precise.

Honestly? Not entirely sure. I guess because it's been a couple years now since my uncle passed, on Christmas no less. Christmas just kind of lost it's meaning.

It's alright, every year I just wish Cancer was gone. At least he isn't suffering anymore. Just still kind of hurts.

Indeed, too many family members lost. Even 2 of my friends' parents passed away from Cancer, it's just not a good time of year for a lot of people around me. I just wish I wasn't still sick or I'd spend it with my friends. They need me more than my (horrible) family does.
