I'm positive that was only a week or two ago though, seriously.

Yeah when I was going to delete it. But my friends convinced me otherwise. They told me to keep it up so that we could all do videos together. And it's a pain to edit.

If you assume one teaspoon is roughly 2 grams for Mellow Monk's cheapest tea it's 80 cents a session. I'm wondering how many more infusions you can get out of the tea this way since it's going to be more powerful since you have a ton of leaves. Still cheaper than soda can if my cost check on that was correct a few months ago(granted it wasn't counting a factor or two).

Apparently this is how they do it in Japan so it's worth a shot. It's going to be an interesting day doing this.

Denstea(another big name tea dealer for Japanese greens) has a nice chart.

    Spoiler warning:

They seem to say 2 grams per teaspoon. I use a measuring teaspoon which works well with Oolongs and greens. The first brew was very strong and enjoyable. It brought out a few subtle flavors I didn't pick up the first time I tried this.

I'll try doubling it first and go from there.

As far as the other teas I'm looking at Kuma 1228, Frosty Garden and Crimson Grove.

I think those are the only three I didn't order.

The Kuma 1228 in particular looks excellent.
