Have you got any idea how to farm Legendary Shards/Energy on Destiny? I know everyone's going wild over Exotic gear now, but me and a friend were about 3/4 way through upgrading our Legendary armour/weapons and the new update's ruined our method. We were hammering public events for at least 1 Legendary Shard/Energy per day (for the daily reward from the post master). They appear to have killed that now and we're at a loss, there's no point in having a fully upgraded exotic chest piece and weapon, but all your legendary gear is still shit...

I'm so done with this game. It can disappear into oblivion for all I care.

Did the nightfall 3 times last night. I got 2 purple engrams that turned into 2 ascendant energy both times and a crappy shotgun that was immediately dismantled for 2 more ascendant energy. 3 nightfalls = 6 ascendant energy. Not like I didn't already have 134 of the stupid things.

Then there was the guy I did the 3 runs with. He gets himself 12 ascendant shards, the Gjallarhorn and Heart of the Praxic Fire. He already has the Gjallarhorn and Praxic Fire, 2 things I really wanted. He died at the refinery and Sepiks in all 3 runs and I had to solo those parts. He gets carried and gets rewarded with the best stuff. Complete garbage.

I'm used to getting a pile of crap from this game but that's the final straw. Every exotic I have I had to buy from Xur. The very few purple engrams I've gotten have always become energy or shards. Had to buy all my legendary armour for all 3 characters with vanguard marks. Cleared the raid 5 times and all I've gotten from killing Atheon is chatterwhites and ships. Wtf do I want with an ugly shader and ship?

I'm trading this pos in for CoD Advanced Warfare. At least Sledgehammer know how to make a good game that rewards great players like me instead of handing the best stuff out to a bunch of scrubs who would be more suited to playing Animal Crossing.

What level are you?
Because if you can turn up the difficulty on the daily story missions you can get 2 ascendant materials if you can turn it to max (Lvl 28).
The real best way is to be able to get the raid done, which again I need to know your level to do, each drop can give you materials and there are 4 chests and 4 drops after checkpoints.

Mainly you need to be high level all ready to be able to farm those really effciently, or you could piggy-back off a friend's high level as he runs through stuff, that's how I got my 2nd and 3rd characters up to 30. I would run through on my scrub with friends mains and then I would swap to my main and run through their scrubs

And you have no idea how mad I am about them reseting the XP to bring the old exotics up to par with new ones. I've been off for a week because of family issues and now I got to get crackin on gathering those exotic shards and what not.

I am missing one trophy. Beat a raid without anyone dying, which my group has been extremely close to several times and the wonderful bugs in the raid have stopped us.

Actually, I just checked the difficulty poll for it and 10/10 has the highest votes by far atm. I don't think I've ever attempted a game that difficult.

Encountered the "missing scope reticle" in Sniper Elite III earlier Lucky there's a work around to fix it...well sort of.
Had to change my loadout to bravo and use default weapon attachments on the sniper rifle.

This game looks nice, has way more space in levels but I think I prefer V2.
