    Default Digimon World 2003 on PSP, need some help

    I've been searching and troubleshooting like crazy trying to get it to work. Many people have gotten the US version (Digimon World 3) to work via running 3.71 and changing the games ID to SLPS01724.
    However, i have not been able to find much on getting the PAL version to work (Digimon World 2003) beyond this thread on another forum
    http://www.portalnet.cl/comunidad/ga...l-psx-psp.html
    Google translate translates it pretty well, from I can gather the guy got it working besides a minor problem when tunneling with digmon but you can avoid the hang-up by simply fighting something before exiting.

    The big issue here is that though the thread mentions using 3.72 this alone doesn't make it work (blackscreens after pops) and he had a 3 part dl for the game available, which is making me wonder WHAT he did to the game to make it work...

    So I'm hoping one of the local gurus can help me out here. Pops is updated and all and that shouldn't be an issue, as I've got other games working just fine with it (Digimon World 2 on 3.90 for example)

    Thank you, I'm hoping we can find something that works as I know I'm not the only one who would love to have the pal version working in full on the psp.

    Google brought me to a pops compatibility list, which had this to say about Digimon World 2003;

    3.80.
    Created eboot using IceTea and changed the PAL Game I.D. to SLPS01724. I'm almost 6 hours into the game and so far no freezes or crashes. I'm running the game on CFW 5.00 M33-6 using POP's 3.52 the game has some slight lag for me but that's it. Another user that has tried this method says that the game plays faster on their POP's 3.52 but again no freezes or crashes - by Logeyboy.

    Another functional ID is SLPS01222. Tested on 5.50 GEN-D2 by Largeroliker. On 6.35 Custom Beta fix2 the game runs well with original ID, but it freezes when you go away. Open the map and close it to fix the bug. Fake japeneses ID won't work anymore. Test by largeroliker.

    5.00 M33-6 I used Game ID SLPS01724. I've used 3.71 pops and not a single freeze after 25 hours. Will update when I finish the game. - L3onardo07
    From this it sounds like the proper solution for the PAL version is the same as the solution you mentioned for the US version.

    Here's a link to the list for future reference; http://www.devils-shadow.com/forums/...game-list.html

    Hopefully this helps

    "I think that the problem with this video is it is highly derivative of many popular bands within the genre. Although when viewed on its own merits, it does have a deeper groove. However what it has in groove, it lacks in originality. One can't help but be reminded of such bands as Pearl Jam, White Zombie, Suicidal Tendencies and other bands that bear the mantle of so called "Alternative Rock". One is even reminded of Lorie Anderson when she wore curlers. Hehehmhm! This video speaks less to the heart and more to the sphincter. In closing, I think Korn would do well to learn more from -"

    I just came across another site with a premade boot, however I came across there as well that I would nee 5.00 m33-6 which as far as I'm aware I can not achieve with my 3001 without bricking my psp in the process.

    ;-;
    All I wanted to do was play the game on the go+have the extra content this time lol, fml.

    If you still need a solution try 3.52. I managed to get it to work after changing the ID to 01724. I'm using CFW 6.60 LME-1.8 on a PSP Go and it doesn't freeze when entering the underground path so far.

    Please, create your own thread explaining what your problem is instead of reviving an old one.
