I fucked up again at work so that probably has a good bit to do with it.

Well, got some new games at least today. That was the good part about my day.

    Street Fighter X Tekken (360)
Injustice Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition (360)
    Mortal Kombat: Komplete Edition (360)

Finally I can play all these online without bad lag or shitty connections.

I like Marvel, but just don't have the money to buy it just yet.

Yep. Depending on the person the brain supposedly finishes developing somewhere between your early 20s and early 30s.

In my case I desperately hope it's the latter.

oh and what about the part where he shoves an old man aggressively? So that part just doesn't exist? lol

The first four shots were not kill shots, and clearly Brown kept coming at the cop and didn't stop. Police are trained not to take chances, and that means if someone is running toward you regardless if you are telling them to freeze and put their hands up, you aren't going to take the chance. I truly believe that Brown was aggressive with the cop and didn't listen. I will wait for more evidence though, and look at the facts.

It's really sad that he was killed, but I'm afraid that I can't really agree that this was a case of racial profiling. That's just my take on this whole thing with the evidence that I have seen.

It's not just police that are trained that way, you're taught that in civilian self-defense courses and such also. If there's someone in your house posing a danger to your person or your family, you don't shoot them in the foot and hope they'll go away. You shoot to end the threat.

I haven't taken any self-defense courses, but this sounds very accurate as to what I read. I don't understand why people don't grasp this core concept.
