Well at least I've had a fair warning.. She also told me another manga I enjoyed has a "good" anime adaption, Mushishi.

Oh my god Terror in Resonance and Aldnoah.Zero are so fucking good. Aldnoah is basically Gundam but with a shit ton of apocalypse allegories and a soundtrack from the Kill la Kill composer. Oh, and a budget near cinematic quality. The direction is so damn amazing, that New Orleans scene is incredible. Terror in Resonance is better directed, though, with these really cool shots and really good pacing. The tension is so thick, and I love how much they put focus on the sheer destruction of the attacks.
Also, Hamatora season two starts with a near perfect episode that involves trying to catch a stalker that doesn't exist with a human-sized pile of hamburgers and a small army of failed male idols in gas masks and bondage gear. First scene is a memorial service that turns into an argument over ownership of porn DVDs. I expect only more amazing things from this point on.
attack on titan, sword Art online, fairy tail 2014, clannad, cowboy bebop, eureka 7, berserk, H.S.O.D
The stuff I'm watching this season
Akame ga Kill--good show probably my #3
Aldnoah Zero--best IMO so far
Rail Wars--probably the worst on here, but is a nice change of pace from all the fantasy animes
SAO II--so damn slow so far
Tokyo ESP--common show about people with powers, common people fearing them
Tokyo Ghoul--little different spin on horrible monster living among us, but nothing special
Zankyou no Terror--2nd best
Stuff that carried over from last season
M3--such a depressing story
Irregular at Magic High School--main character is still as attractive as a cardboard box, but it is fun watching him just wreck anyone
Long ongoing animes
Fairy Tail 2--such a good show,
Hunter x Hunter--also great, finally got by the arc that I disliked so much
Other shows I've watched since I last posted
Welcome to the NHK
Rewatching Rune Soldier as time allows
Just finished Knights of Sidonia.
Watching Dragon Ball Z on Blu Ray.

Watching the first episode of Sailor Moon Crystal... and just no. I hate the new look, I hate the horrible CGI for the transformation, Usagi's voice still makes my ears bleed and I hate the new opening even more than the original.
Plus, the opening already tells you who the Moon Princess is less than 5 minutes into the show.
Watching an 80s mech anime with a friend from Canada called Giant Gorg, pretty good so far. We finished Armored Trooper Votoms recently, and that was a really deep and dark anime.

Look at what series is now on Crunchyroll in all its Japanese glory,
http://www.crunchyroll.com/yu-gi-oh-...eration-664145
waiting to see if it has any of 4kids censoring since its published by them on CR but so far it seems to be unedited footage from japanese TV.
The other Yu-Gi-Oh series are on there too but all but 5Ds has a "Sorry, due to licensing limitations, videos are unavailable in your region." baloney.
