Well I know PCSX2 runs PS2 games on Full HD Res (like this) and ePSXe has some plugins that really improve the rendering. I also can confirm that Gens plays the games much better than an actual Mega Drive. The rest of the consoles I either haven't emulated or I never had the actual console to compare.

Footy pays only a very very tiny percentage of the players. The vast majority of fans end up spending more on it than earning from it afaik.

So why not just play video games?
