The problem here is choosing Hulk to try to make a deep superhero movie, it's a conceptual error. You'd think there are dozens of better choices than him and certainly it's not the kind of movie you expect when you get your tickets. That's why it gets all the hate. Universal had no idea of what they were doing, they had Ang Lee signed for a movie and the legal rights to make a Hulk movie and they felt like killing 2 birds with one stone. Not a good mix.

Eh, it was an interesting experiment. Hulk himself is a very one dimensional character by design but Banner doesn't have to be, and there is potential for depth there even if it's rarely explored in the comics. I just thought it was pretty cool that they took a risk and did something different when they could have very easily made the obvious action flick everyone expected. Which everyone involved must have known would likely be far more commercially successful and earn a hell of a lot more money than the movie that came out.

Anyway, we got Incredible Hulk 2008 and of course the Avengers movie in the end anyway so everything worked out.

So, when my uncle asked me if I knew my Grandpa's truck needed a new muffler I thought he just meant it was going bad.

I've been hearing an odd clanking under my truck while going to work and going home. Turns out the entire fucking muffler is missing. There is just a huge gap and two pipes without anything connecting to them.

So, it seems it really does need a new muffler.
