Belgium's lack of experience was a ballast for them (Wilmots did a weird move sending Hazard to the bench so soon..) and Costa Rica did what they could to resist the Dutch avalanche, but it wasn't enough. (Van Gaal's decision changing the goalies to take care of the penalties was crucial, kudos for him. That's very common in handball, but I've never seen it in football before).
