It is.
I need to find a soul gem. Use some form of spell on an animal, then kill the animal to trap its soul into the soul gem. Different animals need different grades of soul gems, and you either have to guess what animal fills what soul gem or use a guide.
Then you have to find an already enchanted weapon, destroy it to learn it's enchantment.
And then you need a weapon to enchant.
All of that to make a sword that does some frost damage. It *seems* straightforward after you've learned everything about it, but it's still pretty much the most complicated crafting system Ive seen in any game, and for no good reason. Like, Making a sword from an iron mine is less complicated than enchanting a weapon you already have with some magic. And it doesnt make sense. If I'm a magician and I know how to use a fire spell, I should be able to enchant a weapon with fire with relative east IMO.

I don't even fill my gems. I find them all over doing side quests and stuff. All different kinds.
I'm just kickin back, waiting for the stupid floors to dry and my laundry to get done.
Well managed to get back into Skyrim. Just played for the last 90 minutes or so. Took care of a sidequest and did some running around.
Now I'm lost and don't know what I should do next![]()
I played Skyrim on PS3 pre-patch and avoided most of the side quests in case the game broke. This resulted in me beating the main quest at something ridiculous like level 14.The only tricky part was that guy you fight at the Hall of Heroes because I was so underpowered, but really he was more time consuming than difficult. Cast fire, run away, wait for magic to regenerate as he chases you around the map, cast fire again, rinse and repeat.
burning poop on the doorstep is always good too![]()
