Be extra careful with this shit. People try to pass off borked ones all the time. I'm not sure what a reasonable amount of time to test it is though and that's part of the problem.

I'm prepared to go one of these routes. Won't be happening for another couple of months either way, so I'm not too worried about it, but if I can get one for less than $200 this week, I might jump on it this weekend.

And this is why I'm wary of ever buying used consoles. I don't trust other people with that shit, mostly because they usually treat them like barbarians.

I keep all the boxes and foam and whatnot and keep them put up in my closet if I'm not using them. (Except my display ones, but I only display ones I have doubles of.)
