What TV Show(s) Have You Watched Recently?

Started watching Twin Peaks (again).I think this show(as with most David Lynch's work) has to be watched several times. I've noticed a lot of things that I didn't the first time around. I think there were some fairly obvious hints to who the killer was.Or I'm reading too much into the show. There's some things I haven't figured out though, but I guess that's part of watching it.

I finished watched Twin Peaks last week, as well as the film, I much prefer the show to the film. A pretty relaxing show to watch too but it definitely shows it's age.

Yeah. it's obviously set in the early 90's. Some things in the movie and show don't match up exactly. I guess I could see where they were going with it, but I wish more was explained. I enjoy both, but the movie is really different than the show.

Yeah, the film is more Lynchian than the show, while the show was created by David Lynch but don't think he directed/written all the episodes.

I think the network prevented him from doing things in the show. I read that the network wanted him to solve the murder in the second season.We all know how that went.

Going through the first season of Stargate: Atlantis for the first time since the episodes aired nearly 10 years ago.

I was looking up old shows from the 80's and found a show that I kinda remembered. It's called Monsters; it's a horror anthology like Tales from the Darkside. The opening shows a monster family watching tv. This brought back memories of watching it.

Been watching Grimm and I'm not sure why. It's not a great show. But somehow it sunk it's claws in. Season 1 was awful, but I still kept watching. Season 2 is MUCH better, but it still isn't great. And yet I find myself thoroughly liking it.

Well I caved and started the 4th season of Game of Thrones. Looks like they skipped some shit.

I don't know if I missed something but Jaime was already back in Kings Landing also Dany's dragons were like 4 times the size they were in the season 3 closer. And yay Joffrey is dead good death scene!

Looks like they even changed a few minor things again from the book.

Series 1 of the new Doctor Who that started in 2005. Haven't seen it since it was on Sci Fi... back when it was Sci Fi and still a channel worth watching.

Boondocks, Season 4 episode 1. I had no idea they were making a new season since it's been at least 3 years. Color me surprised when I saw a commercial for it the other night.

You better believe I watched that shit - I love that show.

However, this new season seemed a bit tame compared to most of the other episodes. It's still better than Family Gut or the Simpsons IMO though.

Latest Shield. Lotsa stuff going on. Still great Wonder if we're seeing the beginnings of Cloak and dagger But probably not. They have to start wrapping this story arc though lest it drag on for too long. Even though it's good I kinda miss the days of the X-filey type episodes which this one kinda had a bit of along side the continuing story.

Latest Thrones. Can't really bash this one. It was pretty good. What i found interesting were little conversations between people setting certain things up that we didn't see in the book. If that makes sense. Tywin is fast becoming my favorite character Too bad he'll die soon.

Also started a run of Heroes since I've never gotten past the first few episodes of season 2. Man forgot how good that first episode was

Working on Voyager (season 5) and Corner Gas (season 3) still too.
