A good grind spot is right at the beginning of 4-2 I believe it was. Go snipe the reaper and go jump of the ledge - pick your souls back up and repeat. Great way early on.

I wouldn't risk that much, I'd use an archstone shard before I got to that point. My stats are still low so every bit helps.

It's good as far as around level 100 after that it just takes too much.

Yeah but sometimes you get into things and not notice. Happened to me once. Ray lost a ton at one point too. Or you get killed on the way too an archstone
