Will give the consol-ized version of it a go one day.

Ought to pick it up up for Pc. Gonna wave this flag again, but I have a free copy to hand out.

If you're gonna grab a console version of D3 Dan, then make sure to wait til it hits PS4. There's one coming this year at some point.

I think that flag is beaten and tattered. If no one has claimed your free copy yet I don't think it's going to happen.
If my buddy Craig would get off his fucking period we'd have a 4th person, but he must be having a really heavy flow this month.

Yeah that seems to match my experience. I played through the game once when it first launched and never touched it again. I only played about 20% of the campaign in co-op.

It's a totally different game now - they've all but rebuilt everything in it, and now that the stupid auction house is gone it makes the game much more fun. The expansion is actually really good too. It's long, has several good boss fights and aesthetically it looks a lot more like old school Diablo. It's a legit creepy area that fits much better with the game.

Oh, and the new Crusader class is boss.

It's fun for maybe 1 playthrough, but it's not nearly as entertaining as playing with people. Besides, once you beat the game and start ramping up the difficulty, the game gets insane really fast and you'll need people with different abilities in order to keep shit under control. It gets out of hand unreasonably fast, especially in the new expansion

I would only go through it once most likely anyways.

Then you're missing the real allure of Diablo!
There's a stupid amount of side quests and things you can only do when you get yourself really powerful, and besides making multiple runs on the game is actually much quicker than you may think - especially when you have a wrecking ball crew travelling with you.

You should give it a shot though - did you play the other two games?

Don't worry, that's the one I'll be getting. No sense in playing it on PS3 at this point - same for TLoU

There was no auction house in it yet when I played. Like I said, I got it on launch day back in, uh... 2012, and finished it in a few days.

Btw did they ever patch in that PvP mode? I remember being bummed out that it wasn't included at launch.
