Just trying to download a GBA bios. It said if I post it may let me access my desired page.
I was born with an NES in the house, but I would say it was the prehistoric Windows 3.1 desktop that helped get me into gaming.
The NES of my uncle. Everytime I visited him, I couldn't wait to play Zelda and Super Mario.
I was about 8. Got an Atari with Asteroids and never looked back
Not entirely sure, I never asked my parents but I've been gaming for longer than I can remember
a good deal of my family was casual gamers, aunts and uncles, grandma and grandpa would duel it out on dr mario almost monthy. (grandma was the best) so i just grew up with a nintendo (NES). that was about it however, we couldnt afford handhelds or games. i skipped right to a 64, never owning a snes, and only had a handful of games for it. not even zelda until years later. but, i wouldnt have had it any other way, since my lack of material games got me into emulation right at it's start and the start of the internet in the late 90's. i always enjoy coming across emulation topics that reference work by "loopy" or ZD. downloading snes roms on dialup took forever, when you could find the things. sites came and went through the years starting with "freeroms.com" and "rpgroms" (for ff games, naturally). later "Edgeemu" was the reliable site with the huge database, but soon that was shutdown too. finally emuparadise showed up. honestly, i thought it wouldn't last. figured it would get shut down eventually too. but here it stands, running strong and is easily the go to place year and after year. long may we live in this emulation paradise.
